RAFAEL GUARGA

Rafael Guarga is the President and General Director of the company. He is a Mechanical Engineer and Doctor in Hydraulic Engineering. He has over 60 scientific publications in his technical area and directed 39 contracts of expertise from academy to the public and private productive area. Owns patents of the SIS and JetSIS. He was Dean of the Faculty of Engineering (1992-1998) and Rector of the University of Uruguay (1998-2006). He has received the 1st Prize of Science and Technology of the National Bank of Mexico for the PhD thesis at the University of Mexico (1982). President of the International Working Group "Behaviour of Hidraulic Machinery under Steady Oscillatory Conditions" of the International Association of Hydraulic Research (IAHR) (1983-1987). Member of International Editorial Committee for Book Series of Hydraulic Machinery (1986-1990). Award "Genesis" for Best Invention Patent for the invention of Selective Inverted Sink (SIS) (Uruguay, 1995).
Award "Rolex" for Innovation for his invention of SIS  (Switzerland,1998). Commandeur dans l'Ordre des Palmes Académiques, Ministry of National Education of the French Republic for the academic and scientific merits (France, 2002). Award "Tech award" of the United Nations University, the University of Santa Clara and major Silicon Valley companies to the Technological Achievement for the invention and development of the SIS (USA, California, 2004). Academic member of the Academy of Exact, Physical and Natural Sciences (Argentina, 2005). Full member of the National Academy of Engineering of Uruguay. Chairman of the Governing Council of the UNESCO International Institute for Higher Education in Latin America and the Caribbean (IESALC) (2006-2008). Secretary General of the Association of Universities "Central Group" (2006-2009). Receive recognition in 2009 of the European Union Delegation in Uruguay to the spirit of innovation and enterprise Co.Frost Protection Award for innovative SMEs granted by the network ProPymes of Uruguay.

  

ROQUE VELOZ

Roque Veloz graduated as "Engineering Design" of the Universidad de la República (Uruguay.) At FPC he works in Mechanical Engineer design and installation of SIS systems and production of SIS equipment.

 

  

CINTHIA LÓPEZ

Cinthia Lopez is the bilingual Executive Secretary of the company. Her training in the area of graphic expression and informatics allow her to cover a wide area of ​​technical support for the work done every day.

ANDRÉS ALONZO

Andrés is graduated as an Architect  at Universidad de la República (Uruguay). At FPC he coordinates the graphic design area and he is responsible for the geographic information management.

EMILIO PIRIZ 

Emilio graduated as "Engineering Design" of the Universidad de la República (Uruguay.) At FPC he works in Mechanical Engineer design and installation of SIS systems and production of SIS equipment. He also collaborates in the Consultancy area also.

ANDRÉS DE FUENTES

Andrés de Fuentes is Commercial Manager of FPC. He graduated as Industrial Mechanical Engineer from Universidad de la República (Uruguay). He is currently a Fluid Mechanics postgraduate student. At FPC he works in the commercialization, development, production and design areas, collaborating as well in the installation of SIS Systems equipment.

SANTIAGO PAULETTI

Santiago Pauletti is graduated on Hydraulic and Environmental Engineering at Universidad de la República. (Uruguay). At FPC works as technical assistant, development and design areas as well as developing the Frost Control Studies.

 

 

 

IN MEMORY

 

SILVIA SANCHEZ

Silvia worked since October 30, 2006 to January 22, 2011. That day, she passed away of acute pneumonia.
We lost an excellent co-worker and a very dear friend. Enthusiastically, dedicated and liable. She won the affection and love of all who share responsibilities with her.
His memory will live forever in those who were his colleagues and friends.
